The conference, with the theme of "Technological Innovation and Green Development", gathered numerous experts and outstanding executives from the industry, as well as elites from all over the country, to discuss and exchange the latest scientific research achievements in the field of sodium/lithium battery materials in China. The conference focused on reflecting and improving the level of technology and equipment, summarizing advanced technologies applied in production and new technologies still in the industrial trial stage. As a keynote speaker at the conference, Dr. Liu Zhongqing presented a technical report titled "Development and Application of Polyanion Positive Electrode Material NFS for Sodium Ion Batteries". Dr. Liu Zhongqing systematically outlined the technical route of positive electrode materials for sodium ion batteries in his report, pointing out that "the current mainstream systems mainly include transition metal oxides, polyanion compounds (including phosphates, sulfates, etc.), and Prussian blue materials
Dr. Liu Zhongqing emphasized that the sodium iron sulfate based polyanion cathode material, which has the advantage of high voltage platform, is receiving widespread attention from both academia and industry.
